The Skatepark Fashion Show

Deploying an Inflatable Changing Room in the City

The project involved deploying an inflatable changing room in the Southbank Skatepark. The design for the inflatable changing room involved two wearable pieces to support the inflatable structure & allow for a comfortable height.

The staging involved one model wearing two outfits with the aim to recreate the results of a fashion photoshoot. The basis of the project was to demonstrate the ability to use little to no infrastructure, whilst achieving aesthetic results. The conclusion of the project was a critique on the existing methods of staging & production as well as exposing the lack of comfort that the models and producers often experience during fashion shows.

The staging was done on the public space of the Southbank skatepark, allowing the public to view the show from setup to completion.
