Flatpack Pavilion

The project explores the possibilities of desigining & flatpacking a pavilion transportable in carry-on size luggages. Through an analogue experimentation to discover material properties and by building up a material system narrative, the project considers the current innovative technologies and techniques. One single component-based space has been designed to be fabricated in IAAC Barcelona and taken to Cardiff in carry on 25.35.55cm cabin suitcases by plane to be exhibited.

This project has been developed within IAAC Barcelona & WSA Cardiff University with the support of SALA FERUSIC Architects.
