‘25,000 Pencils’ exhibition explores collaborative design through making. The result is a 1:1 installation made entirely of coloured pencils connected througha toric rubber joint. A group of WSA students collaborated in the production of the installation at the MUHBA Oliva Artés in Barcelona.The emerging design grew as a collective endeavor that challenged our preconceptions about what it means to collaborate. Design, in this instance, emerged through the qualities of collective action.
This project has been developed within the WSA Cardiff University and the ETSAB UPC Barcelona Tech, and has been participated by SALA FERUSIC Architects.
